Find quick answers to the most common questions about FYRO Player
FYRO Player is a media player application that supports M3U playlists and Xtream Codes. It does not provide any channels, content, or streaming services. You must add your own playlists from legitimate providers.
FYRO Player requires a valid subscription to use. You can get a subscription through our reseller network or by redeeming a promo code provided by an authorized reseller.
Currently available on Android phones, tablets, and Android TV via the Google Play Store. Support for Apple, Samsung TV, and LG TV is coming soon.
Open FYRO Player, note your MAC address, then visit the Playlist Portal (link in the app). Enter your Xtream Codes credentials or M3U URL and submit. Restart the app to load your playlist.
Yes! You can add multiple playlists and switch between them using the Playlist Manager in the app. Each playlist can be either Xtream Codes or M3U format.
Xtream Codes requires a server URL, username, and password — it provides full features like EPG, catch-up, and categories. M3U is a simple playlist URL that loads channels directly but may have fewer features.
Open the app, go to Settings → Redeem Promo Code, enter your code, and tap Submit. Your subscription will be extended immediately. If a playlist was embedded in the code, it will be added automatically.
When your subscription expires, you won't be able to access the player features. Contact your reseller or purchase a new promo code to renew your subscription. Your playlists and settings are preserved.
Yes! Redeeming a new promo code will add time to your existing expiry date, not replace it. So if you have 30 days left and redeem a 1-year code, you'll have 1 year + 30 days.
Try these steps: Go to Settings → Buffer Size and try "Large". Enable Hardware Acceleration. Check your internet speed (minimum 10 Mbps recommended). The issue may also be on your playlist provider's end.
EPG data depends on your Xtream Codes provider. If they don't provide EPG data, it won't be available in the app. M3U playlists typically don't include EPG. Make sure your provider supports EPG.
Your subscription is tied to your device MAC address (generated from your device ID). If you change devices, contact your reseller to transfer your subscription to the new MAC address.
